Hash

A hash is a fixed-length code representing any length of words, messages, or data generated by a hashing algorithm. In crypto projects, hashing algorithms transform transaction data into a shorter, fixed-length output code called a hash. Examples of other processes that use hashes include data encryption and verifying the authenticity of transactions.
