Transaction Block

A transaction block on a blockchain is a digital record of all transactions that occurred within a given timeframe. This digital record is stored as a blockchain file and broadcast to the network of computers supporting those transaction types. The computers independently verify the validity of each transaction in the transaction block, confirming no fraudulent activity. The new transaction block is added to the end of the chain, validating and recording all previous blocks. This process creates an immutable ledger of all activity surrounding the transactions.
